Best remembered for his Weardale and Teesdale Route Network (8 years of development), Derek (Assets\RSderek) quit DTG together with Paul Jackson after it was sold to Focus. He's still doing what he's best at, being an artist. Just playing one of Derek's best work of art... approaching Stanhope
Yes, Derek's Weardale and Teasdale was a brilliant route, nearly 10 year's old now since it was released on Steam and painstakingly and lovingly reconstructured to the 1950s/60s era. I cloned it so I can play in both BR Green and BR Blue from the 1960s/70s, but, 200 miles of trackage gives us lots to play with and created with a personal passion of the area that gives us a lot of variety and a reflection of the local area of the times. Art was never my forte, so, as long as Derek is happy and content that's all that matters, good luck to him. Cheerz. Steve.
