Anyone else think this line would make a cool route to add? For anyone who don't know they run about 20 miles, with a mix of older and more recent GE power hauling ore from the Tilden mine to the ote docks in Marquette. What makes it interesting is that the ore docks ain't built to unload modern cars, so tbe ones in use are smaller models built from the 30s-50s. They also share some trackage with CN which could be good for variety.

I think this route (or very similar) was made for MSTS. I remember it being fun. Good idea!

Yes I am trying to revive this thread. Why? Cause this route would be great. Could even set it before the Empire Mine closed to make it more busy. Anyway figured some video might get people interested. The mix of AC4400s and older models serving two mines, plus thru traffic from CN would make for a fair variety. Especially factoring in unloading at the old ore dock in Marquette.

or once steam is done you could move this to an earlier period so that way we would have a variety of engines that include large steam

Actually not a bad idea. In the days of steam and early diesels the route ran over far more miles.
