Lamco Class 126

    Started a sub to discuss this as the original thread where mentioned had to be locked...

    Anyhow the Lamco Railway in Liberia did use a Class 126 (not Class 120) DMU purchased secondhand from the UK. Further details here:

    Thanks for that Vern. I regularly use Railcar UK but have missed this. That's very interesting to read about, shame a couple never got returned at least there is a set preserved.

    I am still baffled that one of the last of the SCR class 120's sets were never preserved, I know there was talk of it, I remember reading an article about it in the late 1980's. I guess it was due to asbestos content.
