I’ve been using a fairly basic landscape material containing only 3 layers with reasonable success until recently.
Now in some areas when I paint grass over a tile boundary the adjacent tile, which was green, suddenly turns entirely black. Then when I repaint this one with the grass layer the next tile in line becomes black and I find myself chasing black tiles right across the landscape.
I’m reasonably sure there must be some sort of error in the layout or blending of my landscape material which has only become apparent recently.
I dare say I’ll find a way around this but it’s become a real headache.

The real reason for posting about this is to ask whether we can eventually expect to be allowed to use the built in landscape materials as used in the official DLCs, which doesn’t seem possible at present.

Just discovered that the Grass Layer Info was not set up to be stored in one of my Landscape folders (alongside the Ballast and Dirt info) but had somehow been saved into various DLC Landscape folders !!
As adjacent tiles had sometimes accidentally been painted with reference to a different DLC folder the black tiles were the result of crossing a tile boundary with the paint brush.

I hope someone from the DTG team can accept how useful and easy it would be to give us access to just one of their official Landscape materials. I would be pulling out what's left of my hair much less often.
