One of my more controversial ideas was to add the ability to walk into station buildings, however this time I’ll just keep it simple and have it that you can walk to all platforms of a station. For example, on London Commuter and Southeastern High Speed, both London Victoria and London St Pancras have a good portion of the station blocked off. Sure no (driveable) trains go to those parts but they are perfectly modeled and should be able to be accessed on foot. It will also be a good way to put more collectibles in on routes with less stations such as LGV Medditraneé. Plus, some stations like San Francisco have their building interiors modeled, but can’t be accessed. This will be especially necessary if we ever get a route with both above ground and subway trains. The closest example is Leipzig HBF. I’ve already made a suggestion on the top part being modeled to accommodate for extra layers, ai trains, and railfanning opportunities. But if this does become a reality, you would have to walk through the station to get to the underground part. That’s all I have to say, let me know what you think.
