The earliest route in TSW is Arosalinie in 1914 I believe. We do already have an Underground or Tube but that is using the 1972 rolling stock. The Metropolitan line is the oldest underground railway in the world. As its most extensive, the railway reached 80km into Buckinghamshire, but services were cut back after it lost its independence and became part of London Transport in 1933. The route is approximately 30-40 miles. You might prefer it as a modern route or a 1930 route but I think Late Victorian is more unique. The Engine I say THE engine because we normally now get 1 new per route now *cough cough*. E Class Metropolitan Red Rolling Stock Very old looking carriages made from teak I think The metropolitan didn't have any freight trains or so I have researched. I might make a 1930's Metropolitan line looking at comments
Personally I’m against the next LU route being based in the steam era, I’m not convinced dtg fully know how to do steam yet in tsw and I don’t want them to make another LU line, which would obviously be incredibly popular, and ruin it with poor steam locomotives
Excellent idea overall and speaking of the route this will actually add more traffic onto the modern version provided Just Trains Re made their TSC version for TSW4. DLC Metropolitan Railway EMUs Basically you got Steam and electric error the early 1900s for this TSC route Re made in TSW 4 later in Metropolitan line steam service 1962-1969 Gwr 57xx Duck L92 used for work trains A stock
