Thank you OP. I finally upgraded my PS5 installation to TSW3 after putting it off for a while. Bought the Cross City pack at around £19 (PS+) Installed, and so far so good. Just had a lot of stuff to re-download. Not sure if DTG are aware, but for me, when I download the DLC I already own from the store, it adds both the PS4 and PS5 versions to the download queue. Not sure if this is by design. I cancelled all the PS4 downloads manually.
I think this is a PSN issue. It’s a pain in the bum bum. Especially as it doesn’t let you choose PS4/PS5 - it just says Add-On and both download regardless which Add-On you select.
Good to see these steep discounts, although I have almost all the DLCs on sale already. Hope they start regularly discounting the newer TSW3 DLCs soon!
This is some stupid PlayStation issue on Sony's end that's never been fixed. It happens if you download your DLC from the store or from their app. If you want to avoid it, you can go to the icon for TSW on your home screen, hit the options button on the controller, and select "Manage Game Content". That will show a list of all the DLC you own (installed or not) and let you download any of them. When you do it that way you will just get the PS5 version. There's probably lots of people out there who haven't even noticed that their SSD is full of PS4 TSW DLC downloaded by accident.
This only works with things you have previously installed though. I went to the list after the add-on manager was released but the only content in the list were DLC that I had previously downloaded from the store and installed. For any DLC that I had never installed in TSW3 I had to download it from the store and manually stop both the PS4 versions for TSW3 and the PS4 versions for TSW2. With TSW2 last year when the add-on manger released, all my content was in the list because it had all been previously installed.
