My understanding is if you have certain routes or engine DLC's those assets become available and activated depending on what other DLC is owned. Is there a current list that defines what layers each DLC adds to other owned products? It would convenient to have to help plan future purchases.
German DLCs go like this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1W5-ueaP4-UmdhZMKpdH0yTADmY4gNyMw_dRNi86G57o/edit#gid=0
Very helpful and for DCZ the DB BR143 can do Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr RE1 Doppelstockwagen services. Others went Riesa-Dresden for DB BR146.2 to run them on RRO SKA HRR HMA
Why do I not see any other loco than ICE3 and BR 423 on HMA? No other services related? I´ve got HRR, RRO, MSB. DRA, DCZ and BR 182 and BR 155 installed. What am I missing here? PS4 User!
The answer for that is very simple generation 8 consoles can't handle HMA Traffic at München Hbf. Before rush hour update consoles cannot use Layers on Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg but they can if you have Xbox Series X or PS5
Unfortunately with each development day that passes having a gen 8 console is like buying a sandwich and only getting the bread, the cardboard advertising needs to become more transparent though.
Hmmm OK, so if I´m willing to invest in a PS5 console will it be possible to transfer the whole collection of DLCs from TSW2, enjoy the additional layers and won´t we then discuss the famous 64Gbyte limitation (which I saw being discussed exhaustively here on the boards)?
I think you should be good but yeah factor in that 64gig lark too. I believe it's being investigated so it mounts and dismounts dlc swifter
US: Harlem Line: spg does ai only. Infrequent. Boston Providence: spg fills in sidings Cajon Pass: ai only from Sherman Hill, infrequent Clinchfield: no layers Horseshoe Curve: no layers SPG: c40 dlc Oakville: no layers Peninsula corridor: mp15, mp36 only subs in UK: I don't have all dlc, so I could be missing some, but here is what Im seeing. Here is some generic info. 66 from any route that has it (ecw, sehs, gwe) adds layers to other routes. 37 from either wcl or tvl layers into other routes 08: any of the 08s layer into appropriate routes For some ai layers, you need a specific route although I don't know what exactly from the top of my head. Sehs has a static 08 but forgot where that 08 comes from Uninstalled WSR, but ntp with heavy freight pack layers in and gwb. Tvl: 20 and 31 dlc NTP: Heavy freight pack gives you 40 and 08 BCC: gwe (43), tvl (37), Sehs (rhtt), 66, ntp (passenger coaches and 47 for use in class 43 services). NTP is required for the 43 services to appear CCL: 37, 20, 31, ntp (47), 66 ECW: ntp (45, 47), 37, 31, gwb (52) Gwe: 1972 stock from bakerloo adds in static ai GWB: 31, ntp (45, 47), 08 (comes with gwb, but also need tvl for additional services. ) IOW: none BML: gwe (166, ai 43), sehs (375), ecw (313), 66 (need both gwe and ecw version for all services) Bakerloo: 1938 tube stock, sos (ai steam railtour), 66 for ai freight I believe SEHS: lgv (tgv), sos (jubilee), rhtt, ntp/tvl for ai layers (I could be wrong) WCL: ntp, heavy freight pack, tvl. Edinburgh to Glasgow: sehs (rhtt), ccl (314) SOS: no layers
DTG should make this information available to us, instead of hoping someone in the community will do it for them.
