Hi, I have been trying to lay some track according to the tutorial from DTG, but when I got into the network building mode, I could not get the special curser that would allow me to lay track, I only have the standard cross in the middle of the screen. Thanks!
Sorry, Epic is down at the moment so I cant look up the correct words, but have selected the track properties? Ribbon loft descriptor and track rules?
So I got something to work, but the scale is very off I think, the curser compared to the google maps layover is massive. How can I fix that?
Cursor has a fixed size on the screen so it will always look big when looking from high up and scale down as you get closer to the ground.
ok, but when I get closer to the ground, it just gets stuck in one position at one point and wont move at all
ok got the bug fixed, it was since of the google maps. But the next problem is that the stupid curser is floating around and just stays at the one level and wont go lower
I have the same problem. I can't build my track as long as the cursor doesn't go below 468 z height. I can only build tracks up to that high
Try to regenerate your landscape collision. Go into the landscape tools (Shift + 2) then right click the tile and select regenerate landscape collision components, that should sort out the height issues. (Sorry for the old thread bump)
