Dovetail Live Legacy Forum Account And New Dtl Account Sync Problems

Got myself into a bit of a mess with my dovetail live account
Long story short, deleted my dtl account and created a new one with same email address as was having problems with creators club.
That's all sorted but I can't log into forums as I still have this forum account which didn't get deleted. It asks me to associate the two accounts but that doesn't work.
Could someone manually tie the two together?

 

I had the same issue, you have to contact DTG via the support website and talk about what the best option is.
