This route probably pushing the limit of TSW's engine goes between New York and Wilkes barre along Lehigh Valley Railroad's Mainline During the 60s! Along with that I wanna also add the Hazleton Branch in there. i dont got a system map for this you have to look it up :p Services: Freight services comprise mainly of Coal trains but there could be Manifest along with that of course and others but lets go into the passenger side, Passenger trains go out of New York City to either Buffalo, Pittston/Hazleton, or Toronto, with names like The John Wilkes, The Black Diamond, and a few more by the 1960s Some of them ceased services the rest were hauled by Alco PA-1s. Locomotives: The LVRR was known in part for its fleet of ALCO Diesels lets start with the ALCO C420: These units are 4 Axle road switcher made for Freight, or Passenger if fitted with steam heating, the LVRR Units can run Freight trains up, down, and sideways along the route, from what I found they never hauled Passenger on the LVRR. ALCO PA-1: American Locomotive Company's Answer to EMD's E units, Dubbed by many as one of the most beautiful Diesels these units similar to EMD E Unites are made for Passenger services, on the LVRR They replaced steam on there passenger trains until being retired in 1967, IMO these units have had a Long awaited entrance into TSW and would make great units for this route, along with the A units I would like to see B units even though LVRR didnt own PBs I think including them in would still make these units a great addition. Rollingstock: Freight: LVRR generally Owns Coal Hoppers, Boxcars, and Cabooses coming in Red, White, or maybe even sometimes black, I dont usually go into Freight cars but LVRR has a small list that would make sense for this route. Passenger: Mainly for the Passenger trains (duh) they consist of Baggage, Baggage/Mail, standard coaches, sleepers, diners, Parlors, these cars make up the backbone of the Passenger consists. DLCs: ALCO FA/B-1: These units were made to compete with EMD's F units the units ordered for the LVRR primarily ran Freight trains, just like the P units it will make a great addition to the game. Layering: not much in the way of layering my best idea is if a Conrail route comes along locos could layer into that route. thats all i can think of here. welp thats the route this one feels like a mess of a Suggestion to me if there is anything i can add or improve to this suggestion let me know
Excellent idea and your Delaware River Crossing is at Easton,PA which was built in 1901-1902 . The Bridge north of it is Central Railroad of New Jersey
