[early Access]leipzig Hbf Completely Empty On Ps5

So I tested some Leipzig Dresden services at maximum yoh see there 1 train and one 185.2 at Leipzig Hbf on PS5.

Is this intended or do I something wrong.

 

It requires layers from your older content to fill it out. But you won't get the older content until the 30th.

Then it will look busy.

 

I don’t think so at the intro and the scenarios there are a lot of trains at Leipzig Hbf with the stuff from that route only (Talent 2, 146, 143 and Dostos). In timetable mode it's completely different. At maximum 2 trains so far (2 Talent 2) at maximum.

 

Timetable uses layers, scenarios don't. Scenarios are likely deliberately filled to the level of a fully layered timetable mostly for the sake of weaker old gen consoles. Once early access ends and you have access to all your other content, the layers will add up to the same traffic frequency with even more variety in stock.

 

Remember that by default not all layers are switched on, so it may be it's not showing the layers from the Dresden-Riesa add on. If you want all layers to appear you can either switch them on when you go to timetable mode or in settings you can get it to automatically enable all.

 

Scenarios and intros aren’t based off of working timetables so DTG can make them as busy as they like, in timetable mode we’re missing trains like the other ICE’s for example that’ll probably layer in

 

At Kinzigtalbahn last year we hadn't not all layers at early access. But even at early access we had around 5 or 6 trains at Frankfurt Hbf. Later with all layers we had around 8 or 9 trains at the same time at Frankfurt Hbf.

So 1 or 2 trains at Leipzig Hbf it seems is very small.

Perhaps it's a performance and bad optimization thing like at S-Bahn-Frankfurt on consoles again.

 

You do know Leipzig is not Frankfurt? Most of the trains at Frankfurt are 114+dostos or ICE T, which are included in the route and dont need layers. Leipzig does need way more to look busy and besides that does not have the same amount of trains per day irl either.
But sure, just point at DTG again for the "bad" performance.

 

Well the trains missing are the db 1442, 182, 101, ICE1 and ICE3 from the pics of Leipzig station and it looks busy in the stream Matt is just doing.

So I do believe it is the layers also you can hardly compare the business of Frankfurt to Leipzig, it no where near as busy in real life. Most if not all S-bahn stop in the underground Tief station not the HBF.

 

Enable the layers.

 

That was the first thing before I did any service.

 

We will see if is more on next Tuesday with all layers enabled. I'm curious about which excuses I will hear then, when we have around 3 trains at a station with 20 tracks in real.

 

Remember this is only early access
Pass judgement on the 30th.

 

Personally, I wouldn't call "it's like that in real life" an excuse.
