Managed to add LGV to my account on Microsoft Windows Store for free, but has anyone actually managed to get it installed? The normal procedure to install an add-on would be to go to the list of add-ons, and install it from there. The problem being that instead of a tile for LGV, where I could install it from, I get"Unable to display this right now". Opening and closing the XBOX app on PC doesn't fix this, neither did a reboot, so I am stuck on how to actually get it installed? Anyone else managed to?
I've had issues in the past with the Store, so I only purchase and install using the xBox app. Just hit the purchase followed by install, and it installed. MS Store can have issues syncing with the app.
There's something wonky happening with the XBox app as well. I bought LGV a long time ago, but when I try to open it in the XBox app, there's an error (see below). If I didn't already have it installed, I wouldn't be able to install it now.
Yes, it's definitely busted. There doesn't seem to be any way of installing it once you "own" it. Trying to view LGV in the store once you own it gives me "stranded" picture, and LGV is not viewable in the add-on page, "Unable to diplsay right now."
Hello oporopolist#1682, I wanted to share an update on this issue - After we have investigated, it seems MS Store users and Xbox App for PC users were unable to install the LGV and we do have a workaround: Xbox App Installation Steps: Open the Microsoft Store App. Go to Library. Set the filters Games & Show installed products only. Click on Train Sim World 3 in the list. Scroll down to "Top add-ons". Click on "Train Sim World 2: LGV..." Then, click on Install. DTG Alex Having followed your instructions to filter by installed products and "Click on TSW3", your instructions do not work. There isn't a "Top Add-ons" section, just "Add-ons for this game". And as I already screen-shotted, what should be the LGV add-on tile, cannot be displayed and isn't clickable.
The instructions listed are for the Microsoft Store app, which should be linked to your Xbox App library of games. Can I ask you to try the same instructions while using the app and let me know if you are still having issues installing the content?
