I know many people will be working on many different routes but does anyone know if there's anyway we could upload and save our lidar and .hgt for others to use atm I have Conisbrough to Swinton (south Yorkshire) and working to get Skegness to Grantham lidar and .hgt (this should be done in the next hour or so)

Yes, in many ways, you could resort to e.g. cloud hosting. As a recommendation you should start looking into setting up and using a private git/mercurial/perforce repository, e.g. on GitHub or gitlab or something of that sort. You can share files with others if you want to, even work together on projects, and also keep a version history of all your files there.
