Linke Rheinstrecke Ec 1001 @ 06:40 Why So Slow?

After waiting for another 103 service to pass at Bingerbrück, you continue onward to Mainz along what should be the fastest part of the route. However, I was under PZB restriction the whole way and so couldn't exceed 85kmh even though the helper tells me it's safe to release, when I try it won't let me.

The weird thing is I think this is supposed to happen as I was given enough time to reach Mainz on time. I'm just want to know why? There was nothing ow Infront of means I had green lights the whole way but I was still restricted to 85kmh.

 

Seems to be correct as per the timetable - it looks like the train merges with another service after Mainz
