So, since LFR is now out and I played some hours, here's what I want to tell the devs: It's a beautiful route, it's scenic and it really made me think that it's set in the past. Thank you so much for finally letting me drive the most iconic german loco ever built on the most iconic and scenic route germany offers (for mainline). I love the timetable - you see a lot of AI stock coming into your direction. I love that the trains actually have their names (something that's not really a thing anymore in germany). You see all the half-timbered-houses which are a must-see on the route. You have all the castles along the route. Sure, the castles are not perfect, but they're fine the way they are. You can recognise them. And that really reminds me of all the times where I was on that route in a long distance train. There are some bugs. Some are unproblematic. And some MUST be fixed. The biggest problem is the missing water texture on the rhine along St. Goar. And the other one are the (sometimes way too fast) cars driving through closed level crossing. These two bugs shouldn't be there. That's not good. But tbh - that's it. I don't see anything gamebraking. Maybe some more ship models would be nice. And if they wouldn't be static. n-Wagen in the sunrise The route would highly benefit from a BR 120 + Cab car DLC, so the timetable is even more dense. I very much appreciate that the timetable already offers a lot of different trains (like international D-Trains, though weirdly with n-Wagen and not with IC-Coaches). It was a good decision to put the ICE 1 into timetable. It might be a bit anachronistic, but if that really bothers you - it's just two services. You'll hardly ever see them. Also lovely: The scenario planner - you have a lot to choose from. Now I wished that the LD repaints would appear randomly in the tt as back then you had a lot of very "colourful" trains. It was rather a rare sight to see trains which have only one repaint scheme. The beautiful mastery reward All in all - the release was so much better than BRO. You can see the passion that went into that route and into the 103 (thanks Maik!). I hope the next german route is going to be as good as this one. But it will be hard - because what is left which is as beautiful? Maybe Freiburg-Basel? Maybe something in the Alps? Just please... no flat northern german country side Looking forward. With LFR and NID, DTG and TSG go into the right direction! Finally we have a basic stock for old german routes. More can follow. Though i wouldn't mind having something modern again. Maybe it can be always changing - a modern route follows an old route? Just an idea. Thanks! Rather modern: SBB EC with BR 101
