When I completed Tier 2 Mastery in LIRR Commuter, I unlocked a reward stating "You can now access the Lifting Bridge Control Tower at Long Beach Bridge." I remember Matt stating you could access the tower during the route preview stream. I've spawned to the tower location on foot, but I seem to have no access. The door indicates it is locked. Am I misinterpreting what this rewards actually is? Is there another means to enter the tower?
I was able to get into the control room for the bridge, you must be on the mainland side, and walk inside just by the swinging arm
Thanks for responding. I'm spawning on foot at the Long Beach Bridge as labeled on the map, trying to enter the single door there, which is towards the North end of the building. I assume that's what you mean as the mainland side. I believe this is the structure Matt indicated on the preview stream, but I'm unclear how to enter, since the door is locked for me. I'm posting pics to clarify. Please let me know if I'm totally in the wrong place, or if my assumptions are otherwise wrong. I've verified that I have Tier 2 unlocked in my Mastery profile both in-game and on my Dovetail Live account page.
Can anyone please let me know if I'm even going about this correctly? DTG Staff or anyone else who has successfully entered the Long Beach Bridge control tower? I see a mod has moved my thread from General Discussion to Troubleshooting & Issues. I didn't post it here originally because I wasn't sure I even had an issue to report. I was just asking how to do it, since we never got any instructions about exactly what to do. I don't mind filling a bug report, but I first want to clarify if I actually have a bug, and not just making a simple mistake on my own. Thanks.
