Apologies if this has been asked before but I understand LIRR Commuter is basically a larger and upgraded version of Long Island Rail Road. Nevertheless I have LIRR Commuter already, am I missing anything specific from Long Island Rail Road? Anything they omitted in Commuter that you can only get with the old DLC or do I have absolutely zero need to get the older one?
The only reason to have the old LIRR installed is for the layers it gives you at Penn Station on the Jersey Transit route. Not really worth it tbh. If you want the M3 for LIRR Commuter I think you can buy that separately and it’ll substitute on that route… you won’t need the old LIRR for that. M3 is pretty fun tbh
steveownzzz#6107 is correct. Unless you have NYT and want the layer for LIRR I wouldn't get it. And if you still want the layer recommend waiting for a sale
