    Hello Dovetail team
I’d like to suggest expanding the Long Island Rail Road in Train Sim World to include the West Hempstead, Far Rockaway, Ronkonkoma, Babylon, Playable destined Huntington trains and Port Washington branches. Adding these would bring several benefits to the game:

Diversity in Operations: These branches add variety, from short shuttles like West Hempstead to longer runs on the Port Washington line, giving players different service patterns and challenges from the current or maybe 2023 schedules.

New Scenery & Landmarks: The Far Rockaway branch offers unique coastal scenery, while Port Washington includes urban/suburban transitions and key stations not yet represented.

Authenticity for LIRR Fans: These lines are major parts of the real LIRR network, and their inclusion would make the experience feel much more complete for players familiar with New York railroading.

Replayability: More branches mean more timetable variety, AI layering, and interconnected gameplay with the existing LIRR route.

I believe adding these would not only expand the realism of the LIRR but also increase the depth and enjoyment of the game for both casual and dedicated players.

And maybe considering adding the Grand Central Terminal stop as its LIRR newest terminal to their services to the west

    Breakdown (more detailed)

Ronkonkoma Branch (Main Line to Ronkonkoma)

Major beneficiary of the Grand Central project, with many trains now split between Penn Station and GCM.

Long electrified runs with a mix of fast expresses and all-stop locals.

Recently completed double track east of Farmingdale allows for more realistic traffic meets and operational challenges.

High ridership corridor that feels alive during rush hour.

Potential to expand further east in the future with diesel service to Greenport.

Babylon Branch (South Shore to Babylon)

One of the busiest commuter corridors, now featuring trains to both Penn Station and Grand Central.

Coastal South Shore scenery, elevated tracks, and major stations like Freeport and Massapequa.

Frequent local and express services layered together for dense timetables.

Gateway to Montauk diesel territory, giving future expansion opportunities.

High replay value with nonstop action day and night.

Huntington Branch (Main Line Northeast,, East of Hicksville)

Services now split between Penn Station and GCM, showcasing modern post-ESA operations.

Express trains from Huntington to Manhattan offer long, fast-paced runs.

Busy traffic through Jamaica and Hicksville balances with quieter stretches northeast.

Diesel potential east of Huntington toward Port Jefferson for future DLC layering.

Gives players variety in both scenery and timetable intensity.

Why This Expansion Benefits the Game

Grand Central Madison Variety: For the first time, players could experience both Penn Station and the brand-new Grand Central Madison, doubling terminal options and timetable diversity.

Modern Realism: East Side Access is the biggest update to the LIRR in decades — featuring it keeps the game accurate and up to date.

Timetable Depth: More branches and more terminals mean denser rush-hour traffic, AI layering, and player choice in service patterns.

Scenic & Operational Diversity: From Jamaica interlocking to coastal South Shore runs and long-haul mainline expresses, the gameplay experience would feel fresh and dynamic.

Bringing these branches together with the Grand Central Madison project would give players the most authentic and complete LIRR experience possible in Train Sim World

Thank you for your time and possibly considering this!
