Race Day Run is impossible to complete as when you are told to leave Garden City for Country Life Press, there is already a train stationary heading in the opposite direction blocking the single track that never moves. To make matters worse there is a yellow aspect on the signal for some reason so could legitimately enter the single track and have a head on collision. Edit: I have attempted this numerous times, so is not a one off error
I managed to get the AI train moving when I tried to stop at Garden City perfectly on time, like not too early or late. Try that if you can.
ok thank you, yes that worked! It's weird as it gives you 3:30 minutes to go the 1.1 miles to garden city and the speed limit is mostly 70 mph so it is very easy to arrive there too early compared with the first couple of stations where you really have to rush to be on time
Oh I'm surprised that it really worked. Now we know this is a possible workaround. Maybe the AI train can only be "triggered" at a very specific time.
