Lirr Sound Issue

Is it just me or has anybody else noticed on some LIRR journeys that the loco sound is non-existent for a good portion of the route and all of a sudden kicks in? For example, [2022] New York Penn - Ronkonkoma there is no loco sound from New York Penn to somewhere past Jamaica then it's fine for the rest of the route. I was wondering if this was a widespread issue or somehow just me (Xbox Series X).

 

It's widespread. After it got the preservation treatment, the sounds got messed up.

 

Yeh this has been an issue for almost 2 years. Apparently they want to port the M7A sounds to the M7 since in real life they sound the same. I hope that actually fixes the problem though

 

The m7a has the same sound issues where only the 1st few cars only make a sound lol

 

That's something they have to fix as well
