All these trains can couple in game, but in formation editor:

    Dellner
    • Class 37/7 EPX can't be put in a formation with 375, 377, 387 or 700
    • Class 375 and 377 can only be put in formation with each other, not 37/7 EPX, 387, or 700
    • Class 387 can only be put in formation with another 387
    • Class 700 can only be put in formation with another 700
    Tightlock
    • Class 314 can't be in formation with 465

dont forget lots of those cant operate together in real life either. Agreed some of them can and should work, but a matching coupler type doesnt mean the air/electrical connections are joined the same. Its the same with vacuum braked stock, it will couple but the brakes wont work, so the formation designer doesnt allow it.

Electrostars should be able to couple together. Not sure about the 387 as it's the newest of the bunch, but 375 are pretty much the exact same as 377s nowadays.

I've made a note of this to check over the coupler compatibilities and see if there are any errors. If they're issues with how the trains themselves are set up that might not see a fix in the formation designer beta timeframe but if it's an issue with how formation designer may have misunderstood it (quite possible, we've had a few issues with that in development of it) then that should be fixable.
