Idk about anyone else but wouldn’t be so cool if one day they could create a real world map and have actual buildings and live updates and stuff just like Microsoft flight simulator 2020?
Apples to oranges comparison. It's very unfair in fact. Msfs directly streams from bing maps. But that's only possible because they have servers available from Microsoft to stream the data and access to the latest tech and ai from microsoft. That costs millions of dollars and even then there are limitations. Dtg have access to none of them so it's not going to look like msfs. It would also hurt performance a lot doing that without the right technology
The original poster is right. As a simulation game, it should simulate reality, including the buildings and ecology around the railway lines. Otherwise, just cancel the "simulation" and just call it "Train World".
to add on to that, TSW isn't PC exclusive so what is added to the PC editon of TSW has to also be added for the console edition which can't handle as much as a PC especially Gen8 consoles
