    Liverpool - Birmingham & Stoke-on-Trent
    Hello,

A thing I feel TSW has needed since it's release is an electric UK route. And I think I may have found the answer: Liverpool - Birmingham & Stoke-on-Trent

    The Route:
The route would run from Liverpool Lime Street to Crewe through Liverpool South Parkway, Runcorn and Crewe, where it would split in two; Crewe - Stafford via Stoke-on-Trent & Crewe - Stafford, with the East Midlands Trains line to Derby running with the LNWR line from Crewe - London Euston via Stoke-on-Trent. The route would then follow the LNWR Liverpool Lime Street - Birmingham New Street line all the way to New Street, with many opportunities for a busy rail network in between.

    The Stations:
(NT = Northern, EM = East Midlands Trains, LN = London Northwestern Railway, VT = Virgin Trains, XC = CrossCountry, WM = West Midlands Railways)

Liverpool Lime Street - Birmingham New Street:
    - Liverpool Lime Street (NT, EM, LN, VT)
    - Edge Hill (NT)
    - Mossley Hill (NT)
    - West Allerton (NT)

    - Dudley Port (LN, WM)
    - Sandwell & Dudley (LN, VT, WM)
    - Smethwick Galton Bridge (LN, WM)
    - Smethwick Rolfe Street (LN, WM)
    - Birmingham New Street (LN, VT, XC, WM)
    Crewe - Stafford via Stoke-on-Trent
    - Crewe (NT, EM, LM, VT, XC)
    - Alsager (EM, LN)
    - Kidsgrove (NT, EM, LN)
    - Longport (NT, EM)
    - Stoke-on-Trent (NT, EM, LN, VT, XC)
    - Stone (LN)
    - Stafford (LN, VT, XC)

    The Trains:
    Northern:
    Class 156
    Class 323
    East Midlands Trains:
    Class 156

    Class 350
    Virgin Trains:

West Midlands Railway (Operated by West Midlands Trains):

    The Services:
    Northern:
Liverpool Lime Street - Liverpool South Parkway (Class 156)
    Crewe AI (Class 323)
    Kidsgrove - Stoke-on-Trent (Class 323)
    East Midlands Trains:
Liverpool Lime Street - Liverpool South Parkway (Class 156)
    Crewe - Stoke-on-Trent (Class 156)
    London Northwestern Railway:

    Stoke-on-Trent AI (Class 390)
    CrossCountry:

    West Midlands Railway:
Wolverhampton - Birmingham New Street (Class 172)
Smethwick Galton Bridge AI (Class 172)

Why I think Liverpool to Birmingham & Stoke-on-Trent should be added into TSW:

I think that what GWE doesn't simulate is the feeling of being on a busy mainline with countless passenger trains. L2B&SOT could take the word 'exciting' to a whole new level, so I really think this route should be added and priced at around £30-45.

    Hello,
Sorry I've been so stupid that I've used 2 different fonts. See if you can spot the difference (look for the 'C's)

Never, ever going to happen as 1 route. Possibly in stages such as Lime Street - Crewe, Crewe - New Street. I don’t know why you’ve included Stoke as it’s not the route taken by trains heading to or from Liverpool.

What he means is that it’s not part of the mainline, you can catch a train from Stoke to Birmingham but it’s pointless if the route is from Liverpool to Birmingham

I don't think at the moment you would ever get a route that length, certainly not from DTG, maybe things will change in a couple of years, I would love to see it though.. I suppose Crewe to Liverpool would be possible with a Pendolino and a class 350, plus a class 66 I guess or Stafford to New Street.
