Liverpool / Crewe 1958 (double Heading?)

    What the possibilities for double heading pairs of steam locomotives with this route or on any route these locos will be useable on considering steam locos aren't know for being linkable together like diesels or electric by power connection cables,Normally you need crews in each steam engine.

    I have wondered about this. Then I thought how did they do it in realife. I guess some the loco you're not in would have an automatic driver and fireman and would follow what you did in the lead loco.

    I think double heading would work as you could link the controls of one steam enguine to the one behind you. An example is if you do initial application brake on your loco the other loco would also do the same brake and so forth.
