I think a fun suggestion would be to have the Liverpool Lime St - Birmingham New Street Line with the the stoke on Trent branch

This route will be approximately 80 Miles it's a fairly big sized route but also quite reasonable

    28 Stations:
    Liverpool Lime Street
    Edge Hill
    Mossley Hill
    West Allerton
    Liverpool South Parkway
    Runcorn
    Acton Bridge
    Hartford
    Winsford
    Crewe
    Alsager
    Kidsgrove
    Longport
    Stoke-On-Trent
    Wedgewood (Disused)
    Barlaston (Disused)

    Stone
    Norton Bridge (Disused)
    Stafford
    Penkridge
    Wolverhampton
    Coseley
    Tipton
    Dudley Port
    Sandwell & Dudley
    Smethwick Galton Bridge
    Smethwick Rolfe Street
    Birmingham New Street

The reason I've suggested this route so that we can take advantage of previous purchased content and most importantly to get more use out of the Avanti 390. The 350 would be great for the full run and fast runs between Stafford and Crewe

Not too sure what AI we will have for the Welsh Cardiff City Network Route but I'm sure we could use that for some Ai Traffic

Perhaps the Voyager could be additional new DLC to the route to represent cross country services

Always a fan of routes I've travelled!

Even without all the TOCs and locos you'd have some good service variety with just the 350 and 390 so there would be less DTG would have to start from scratch on.

Equally even without all the TOCs there is still some good potential AI from existing licenses/routes such as BCC at New Street (the rolling stock is now out of date but you could set the period to just before 323s were replaced). This would also be a way to better populate New Street. Then between Lime Street-South Parkway you can have some Northern 323s and EMT Class 158s for Nottingham services.

You also have a route hopping portal at New Street, but possibly also 'back in time' portal to Spirit of Steam at Liverpool and Crewe.

If DTG ever does Merseyrail then it could really come alive!

The more I think about it, the more I like it. Only trouble is I can imagine DTG seeing it as too much as it's quite lengthy with a lot of stations in urban areas as well as having some complex stations like Crewe before you get to either Liverpool or Birmingham. Would love to see modern Crewe in the game though.

Yeah, I believe it's a great route to put in the previous content such as 323's, 158's, 350 & 390 would be fantastic!

I think the hardest parts of development would be Liverpool Lime St - Runcorn, Crewe & Wolverhampton - Birmingham New St

At least Birmingham New St is in development and there's a lot of interchanging stations so that's a great point that it'll be great for route hopping too!

It's very lengthy however with previous Trains' & Birmingham New Street has already been constructed essentially it'd be a challenge for DTG however I think it'd be great for gameplay with stopping & express which would just bring so many hours of game play for players!

The good thing about Liverpool to Crewe is we already have that route in TSW, albeit the steam era. A good, solid base to work from, which shouldn't be much work to bring it to modern standards given its mostly the same.
