This route (although a portion of it is already in the game as Spirit of Steam) could be very enjoyable, because if set in the early 2010s, we could see a variety of different locos. These would be: TransPennine Express 185s and East Midlands Railway 158s operating semi-fast services to Piccadilly, stopping at Liverpool South Parkway and Warrington Central. Northern Rail 156s operating stopping services between Lime Street and Manchester Oxford Road. The route is 35 miles long and could be likened to the Great Western Express route that we all love!
