Is it possible to have the TVL Class 37/5, Class 31 and WSR Class 33 added into livery designer? They aren't currently on there and there's a few liveries that I would like to create for them.
This was supposed to happen when the preservation crew existed but once they ceased to be it seems that they were forgotten about. Long overdue upgrade.
There's an awful lot of people who would love to see these models brought in to Livery Editor. No sign of DTG taking up the challenge yet mind.
I am one of those awful lot of people who would love to see these models brought in to livery designer. I just fear that if DTG make changes they will mess things up, like what happened with the GWE HST.
Agreed, I would love to say they learnt how not to do it, but I just don't know and really don't want these ruined, especially the 31 which is a real gem.
Just realized that the Class 45/1 isn't on Livery Designer as well. So that'll have to be added in too.
Does anyone remember when the 33 was first announced for WSR. It was mentioned that it would be available in several liveries but obviously that never happened and the "available in several different liveries" aspect quickly got dropped from the promotions. Personally I'd love to see the 09, 31, 33, 37/5 and the 45 added to livery editor.
I forgot that the 09 wasn't on it. Although it is slightly annoying that it's also not included, I'm not too bothered as we've got the Class 08 which basically is the same.
What happened? I've never heard of any issues before - the only thing I can assume is something about how long it took to come out..?
Yes, really need these classes added to the Livery Editor. Not only are there dozens of liveries for Class 31s, but Class 46 could be created too. 37/5s for Thornaby would be welcome too, a good few livery variations. Come on DTG, please let us have them!
Oh, I downloaded liveries but never used them and I haven't used the GWR HST for ages so no wonder I never noticed that... I assume those bugs are fixed now?
The thing is you have to go to the root - the whole model mesh must be altered, adding vertices to then have an area you can define as being recolourable. This is a whole lotta work and bears a high risk of introducing glitches. And probably a lot of the models are 2nd party contractor work - so these contractors will want to see money for the job.
Admittedly (as said by aeronautic237) the snow effect does look good, it's just been emphasized.. slightly.
