An Idea- Dostos Coaches in place of a Flirt (Greater Anglia) when we get it.
But you will need to add the refrigerator, in order the juice arrives fresh to destination!
What's the matter, you don't like your orange juice steaming?
Looks great! One of these went through my town a couple weeks ago! Just one change, the roof should be black as well.
Do you mean from the cab back. I'll have to change that thanks, couldn't tell from my photo.
I know the challenge wasn't for me but after I saw this photo you posted I knew I had to have it for my collection. I call mine Franky (short for Frankenstein) since it took body parts from numerous locos to bring it back to life. Wasn't sure what the other side looked like so I improvised. Was going to try to weather it but I'm at 300 layers.
that thing hurts me
Yeah, from the cab back.
How do you guys get the handrails and platforms to look so good I can't get mine to do so.
yeah me too.
Looks great. It might help the weathered look if you change that bold green to a more grayish-green, and maybe a brownish-black on the cab roof.
Do your handrails last (so they are your top layer) and change your projection settings - the top slider should go all the way to the right and the bottom slider should be lowered to the left so that the paint/shape remains only on the handrail.
Wow! Great job with that paint job. I'm impressed. Apparently (I did some research) this is Wisconsin Central 3008 and it's actually pretty popular. People have even made models of it.
That being said, you did a good job with the livery!
here people have a grand trunk loco
I also made a bunch of liveries based on the colors of pool balls
there were more but I accidentally posted that before I finished uploading them all
I was waiting for someone to do GT. Nice!
SNCB/NMBS talent. Did the old paint scheme in case anyone was going to do the modern one.
Looks Good. I am going to try the National Express
How do you guys do weathering?
Does this look any better?
hey that's cool
Thanks changed the cab colors to look more aged, thanks manticor225 for the advice
In my opinion yes, I think that helps add to the aged look a bit.
Made the change, thanks.
Another rental, this one doesn't really exist, just wanted to get creative with the colors.
How do you people do these things!
So for me I take a few of the layers that look like scratches and stretch them out. Then I change the transparency on them so they look blended. Take the gradient square with your main color and place it over the others. Also take your main color and make a bunch of similar lighter and darker versions of it so things look darker or lighter.
thanks for the tips. awesome redesigns by the way
that is what exactly
Here is a patched ABOX boxcar with some unique ghost lettering and some fading as well.
My tribute honoring those who are still fighting the fight and those who have lost the battle. God bless you all.
Very nice they look amazing.
Why haven't they made a upload section for repaints in the game it self?
Licensing issues. It all comes down to licensing. When DTG gets permission to use a railroads logo, it is all on the owner's terms. And they can't "promote" liveries that use logos that they do not have the licensing for.
Once the preserved collection opens up I think I'll have a go with the editor, think I'll go for something simple like 66789 (Class 66 in BR Large Logo Livery) to start with
hi guys, can someone make this one? "TCDD DE 24000"
Merhaba! I'll go make that tcdd unit! Already did an ICE for them. I'm going to use the sd40-2 since it has c type trucks too. Give me about an hour or so to finish it.
So on a side note, wouldn't it be fun to chose a county and have all of us make a train from it? I really am tempted to start making some Australian locomotives, I know once the 66 is up to paint it'll open up a massive amount of options for us.
Making a tank car with all the required writing on it. it's taking FOREVER.
and I ran out of layers. darn. How many layers are allowed?
I made a Buckingham Branch GP38 which is a GP16 IRL
cool. anyway this is the tank car I made. I couldn't put all the writing on it because I ran out of layers.
300. DTG has said they want to work on increasing it to at least 500.
good. maybe they can make it easier to write stuff too?
Here is that exact locomotive irl
Nice. first 2 digit road number I've ever seen!
Whoa looks amazing thanks man!
No problems! This is the first time I added separate boxes for the different vents and handrails to make them stand out better. I like the results.
I didn't even know there were two-number trains
Separate names with a comma.
