So I was recently driving the class 47 on NTP, is it possible to make a livery for it with the coaches included? (So instead of just the loco, its the full train set loco and carriages in livery designer)

Yes, but each type of coach is a separate livery.

You can use the search function: Screenshot_20230122_180836.png

Is there anyway to make them combine into 1 train that I can spawn that uses all of the liveries? (Also I am on TSW2 if it makes a difference)

I don't see why not. It should be- oh hang on. Can you combine them? I'm not sure. Let me see if I can find anything on the forums.

Well it seems to be possible - people have done it:https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/54253

In Scenario Planner you can choose the livery for all cars yourself, that way you can make a scenario that uses a specific livery for all cars on your train. But in timetable mode, sadly no - you can only choose livery for your locomotive, the cars behind you will be all random.

Unfortunately without a consist editor you have to do the same livery for 1st class, 2nd class and the BG to get a full train of identical coaches. Unfortunately since they are separate vehicles you can’t copy and paste them either.

This does have one advantage that you can create trains with different liveried coaches as happened regularly in real life.

To get your uniform train start with first class. Get your colour and take pictures with your phone of the colour codes- then you can be sure you get the same colours on the 2nd class and BG.

When applying the livery, see if there’s things like window frames or door handles that line up with your shapes. Then you can use these things to make sure everything is in the same position on the second class coach.
The BG is a little harder as it’s a mk1 instead of a mk2. To get round this make a scenario with your train of coaches and then check how well your BG matches the mk2’s. You can then adjust it if necessary.

Most BR liveries are fairly simple and formed of different width stripes so they are usually fairly easy to replicate.
