I have mentioned this on another post on other forum's part, but as it is a suggestion, then I decided to include here as it is the right place. This is about when making a new Livery, but does not finished - due to available time, needs more information or I prefer to play the game - I noticed this "not finished" livery, already appears on timetable trains!. Even could be your locomotive, as this was one of the situations I experienced. So as a solution for this, I suggest on Livery Designer, to have a something like a "Work - or - Livery finished checkbox", which you indicates the livery is finish, so just then be included on running trains on the sim. Not before that time. Hope be useful.
This is a good point. I still see some YouTubers running up against blank trains where an unfinished livery has spawned in. Could be good alongside an option to control which liveries will appear in a certain run.
It needs a selection to choose how likely it is to spawn, switchable between: Never is your work in progress setting and the default so the livery won't be used. Specific allows you to choose a set of train numbers on which the livery will be used. So you could choose a single number, like the Trainbow on SEHS or a few numbers separated by commas. Percentage would give a likelihood of the train appearing on a slider from rare to common, with the liveries mixed in with the default. Always would be the same as sticking the percentage slider to the top, but removing the default livery for the train. So if you have only one custom design set for the 387 and choose Always, the red GX livery will be entirely replaced by your design. That should cover most circumstances, I think.
Yes for sure. This goes into another suggestion for scenario planner 2.0, where liveries can be managed in each route to match with different time periods. With unfinished liveries should be possible to "unhook or deactivate" even in the livery editor
