It's me again so hopefully your not bored of my suggestions lol.

Today I am suggesting the LNER service but don't really know where they do runs so will let you guys suggest potential routes.

The reason I'm suggesting this is because I want to see the LNER train in the game, again I don't know what trains are used, is it the class 170 and 158?

One route I would love for LNER is Doncaster to Leeds and York but most people would probably want ecml south london kings cross-peterborough.
Class 801, Class 800, Intercity 225 (class 91, MK4 coaches and DVT). 170 and 158 is more scotrail or northern

I agree with you regarding Doncaster to Leeds :).

I did notice on creators club that there is an LNER Azuma but it wouldn't let me download it :(.

Inverness to Glasgow or Edinburgh to Aberdeen would be good though both may be too long a route for DTG or any other developers to consider.

What you can do is remake ECML North Newcastle upon Tyne to Edinburgh Waverley ECML York to Newcastle upon Tyne ECML York Peterborough the last part is east coast Main Line South Kings Cross Peterborough. If you want to see what the entire route looks like watch PTG Rail Class 91

Merger wise common origin point London King's cross for ECML

LNER all either terminate at Edinburgh or go on to Inverness, Aberdeen or Glasgow. They don’t go between those stations if that makes sense.

As said above LNER have only 800s, 801s, 225s and if set in 2019 HSTs as well. I would love to see my home stretch in game from York to Peterborough, though it it is on the lengthy side. Newark to Lincoln is a rather nice change from the usual high speed electric services so would be nice to see this line in game as well or even just doing what Lil jj suggested from Doncaster to Leeds and York. Endless possibilities on the best line in the country!

Perhaps P'borough - Doncaster + Lincoln Cent - Newark North Gate would be a feasible route?
Opportunity for the LNER Diesel runs you mention, a decent stretch of the ECML-Proper, and of course some more EMT/R action following Midland Mainline.

Best section of the ECML would either be Newcastle to York, with the slightly scenic and curvy bit between Newcastle and Durham, then the racetrack to York. Either that or Newcastle to Berwick, nice and scenic in places. However both of these a bit on the lengthy side given DTGs capacity for building routes now seems to top out less than 40 miles.

Also as mentioned before in the numerous “I want the ECML” threads that spring up every week, and DTG have passed over for five years, the best era is mixed traction with Deltic as the star of the show.

Yes that would do the job nicely, although it is not the most scenic bit it is definitely the section I would like to see most and having Lincoln and Doncaster end points would give that bit of variety and longlivity.

100% yes being in a Deltic bombing down the ECML is literally the dream for this game as I think in real life I will forever be confined to 225s and Azumas which do the job but just not in the same way the Deltics do it. The amount I would give to see this come to TSW...
