Hi I'm new to Train Simulator and I'm having issues with loading times. The main menu works fine but when I go on the WCML south in carrer or quick drive it freezes. It didn't do this yesterday but I got a reskin and sound pack for the class 390 I don't know if that is what is causing it. Does anyone know a fix.
your not alone its ever since this last core update its screwed alot of the game not just loading times but frame rate as well its a huge mess i say and someone from dovetail needs to look at this issue asap and fix it in a patch
Thank you I thought it might have been my PC. Is there a temporary fix or do I just have to wait. UPDATE I manged to get through a part of the WCML out of London but it froze. Now it's not loading at all but it keeps on changing.
If it was working before you installed the 3rd party DLC, I'd suspect there might be a fault with the DLC you've added. 3rd party DLC comes with no warranty whatsoever. Some of it is fantastic, some of it is rubbish. Does the freeze come before the route finishes loading, or during driving?
Mainly when loading the route however it worked once with everything only on the 390 reskin there was Avanti logos over the Virgin ones but it shut off and gave me the message below. It's now starting giving me this message bellow when loading and shutting off I'm going to send a message to dovetail and see what they respond with UPDATE : I was curious so I thought I will try launching another route and it worked the ECML loaded fine it stopped a little but not alot. I have just tried the 390 on the ECML and it gave me that message again so is it a fault with the reskin or the sound enhancement pack ?
