Hello and sorry if this is obvious but I was trying to drive the DTM AlCo FA2 and the loco brake remains at 20%. I can use the keyboard control to reduce the brake lever to 0 but as soon as I release the key it returns to 20%. Is this normal? The manual that comes with the DLC (Western Maryland BL2 Loco Add-On) does not mention anything about this. Thanks.
It is released at 20%. 0% Is Bail Off. It will spring back to 20% - that's correct. Bailing off means if you have applied the auto brakes, you can just release the brakes on the loco using this method. The brake cylinders on the train will maintain pressure.
