Hi, i think this loco would be a success, because it's very suggested by me. Since 1997, Israel Railways operates it's Alstom JT42BW Prima diesel locomotives on all Israel Railways' lines except Tel Aviv to Jerusalem high speed railway and Herzliya to Ashkelon electrified railway. There is one reason why this would be a great loco: -Dovetail doesn't have a partnership with Israel Railways
Not much point without a suitable route, which I'm sure has been pointed out to you before - or someone else asking for Israeli content - is never likely to happen given current political troubles in the Middle East. In fact I highly doubt any ME country likely to feature on DTG's agenda. Even if DTG were willing, can you imagine Israeli Railways giving free access to their trains and network for research purposes? I think not!
whilst I ain’t sure about access and agree it’s a tricky region for selling in TSW (I will use that way at calling it too avoid getting bogged down in the details) Israel does have one push up, it’s got a lot of “everyones favourite” TSW German dostos, possibly modified for Israel’s network im not sure, though if not that does possibly make it somewhat easier.
