I've noticed some LOD loading issues on the route other than the usual tree pop-in, specifically some of the overhang on the catenary structure(s) and the supports for the open-sided platforms. They are popping in only when you're virtually on top of them and disappearing equally quickly if you switch to an external view. Here's an example of the catenary issue. This is Ultra settings and DX11. Is it just me?
It's the ballast poppin that really bothers me, even trying to reduce it with Engine.ini edits doesn't seem to improve it.
