What are you trying to make?

    How to create track
    Procedural Lofted Geometry

Shaders that can be used (and must be used) starts with "Loft" in their names. See the Briage-manual.
For start, end and middle geometry you can use normal shaders.

    Canal with water?
Shader must be set for every material you have, just like with other objects for TS.

It's not difficult to create a loft object, but it has do be done right. Make sure that the UV spans from Y0 to Y1 (it will repeate the texture in Y direction) Make the loft object 2 or 4 m long. Apply scale and rotation, and have the origin at 0.0.0.
