Can someone please tell me how I get hold of a log book to log my drives. Or do I have to create one myself. Thanks.
There something like a logbook using the DOVETAIL LIVE, and login in the games, but it is very primitive, show only the latest 5 runs, and gave no statistic of any kind
Log into live.dovetailgames.com Click your profile, there you can find your records. Mind that it might take some moments to sync
on mine I can only see and access the last 5 runs And thereis absolutely no statistic, it use to show which locomotive was used the most, which trainset , etc ....
It seems to depend what device/computer is used. I can normally only access 5 records too. But occasionally I see the previous button appear from a desktop computer. the log book is a nice feature but lacking a reason to go back to. I would like to see a simple online league table of scores where you could pull up and compare your log book entry with someone else’s. That would give it more meaning to me. it also needs a note on vehicle used (for subs) and the basic weather, along with a filter for route and vehicle. Those tools would allow us to compare similar runs and see if we have improved or not.
If you go into the game, click on the driver I think and then each train in turn you can see what you've been running. Not sure you can get loads of detail though, more overall mileage
There's nothing really equivalent to a career tracker or the pilot's log book that you see in flight sims. Occasionally you will get an achievement pop up advising you have completed a certain distance driven in a particular traction type (sometimes you get the same thing more than once!) but this is more of a gimmick. For example the new German DMU Class 612 gives you an achievement at 6.12km driven then 61.2km (which I had three times), while the Class 40 will trigger at 40 miles. Basically something to get the kids going "oooo" and "aahhh", not really any basis for a career study.
442 Kilometres on DB BR442 Riesa-Dresden Version also counts for Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen version while HRR DB BR422 gameplay contributes to the Wuppertal Commuter achievement from Rhein-Ruhr Osten.
Mine goes back one year even though I've been running TSW since it first appeared. I think the "trick" is that one has to have been logged in while playing . . . something that I seldom bother to do. Actually, I'm not sure that I even know how to log in.
I click on my profile but all I have is the option to select one of the following....... Profile Settings, Integrations, Notifications or Security & Privacy? I have nothing relating to what runs i've done in TSW2. (And yes it is always logged in to Dovetail Live when I use TSW2).
