On approach to east croydon these speed boards are shown as 60mph on the hud on the top right. Then when you get to the 45mph it changes to 45, so already speeding by 15mph.

So the game is all rather mistaked up. Shows 60 with the yard count down then 45 when you are right at the board.

Cmon dtg this kinda stuff should have been noticed. Why does it take your customers to find this and not your staff.

Bml has so many other issues as you are aware of. Nothing new. A new route and same old issues.

    Disappointing

Iirc, it shows 45 correctly briefly about a mile away and then changes straight back to 60.
Been caught out by it many times but started to learn to slow down before reaching that point.

I just posted about this too in the incorrect Purley HUD thread. I took some videos of the incorrect speed changes:

A couple more, with videos this time, on the 1U41 GX service from Gatwick to Victoria:

Leaving Gatwick shows the next speed is 90 when it’s actually a 25 speed restriction over the points.

The northbound fast line approach to East Croydon is very buggy in general.

Firstly, the 60 at South Croydon is quickly followed by a phantom 60 marker about 20 yards later. (Plus a tree branch is in the way)

For a moment the next speed marker after South Croydon says that the speed will be 45, but then quickly changes to say 60. The phantom 60 from earlier can lead you to believe that the HUD showing 60 whilst you’re already going 60 is probably fine and another bug.

The speed actually IS 45, so if you aren’t paying close enough attention, or if you think the 45 flashing up ahead was a bug, then you’ll be approaching the 30 speed restriction at East Croydon way over speed. Plus, after reaching the 30 zone, the next speed shown is actually the 60 that follows the 45 that starts halfway up the platform. The HUD eventually recognises the 45 though once it’s in line of sight.

It is like this on any trip I take on this track, in journey and timetable mode. Xbox One S
