Sound on London Commuter on PS5 still appears to be distorted and still cuts out following the update today (27/10/21).

There is mention of a sound fix in the update notes, but running a 377 from Brighton to Victoria, sound was being distorted and continued to cut out as was the case before the update.

    Core
    • Updated the brake pressure reference type, this should resolve instances where the audio failed on the BR Class 377/4 and the BR Class 387/2 on London Commuter

DTG Natster, Complementing the friend's comment, in fact the update did not correct the sound of Locos 377 and 387, walking with the two windows open there is still a very loud wind noise, with the right window open we can still hear the sound of the locomotive, but still very low, and with the windows closed in fact it is practically inaudible.

though what your mentioning has nothing to do with what was actually detailed that had been fixed in the notes

The notes that you mentioned are regarding the brake pressure and has nothing to do with correcting the sounds of the locos

I understood what you said, but in the notes it says that "...this should resolve instances where the audio failed on the BR Class 377/4 and the BR Class 387/2 on London Commuter", for this reason we report that the sounds in the cabin remain non-compliant.

That’s an issue with the volumes of the sounds, they didn’t say they had addressed that, only that they addressed the sound actually cutting out.

I don’t believe DTG have confirmed to even be looking into the in cab sound volume.

They implied that they will look into cabs sounds overall. They are taking the complaints of the "sound police" serious and are going to look into all the mixing

But indeed these patch notes only speak of brake audio

DTG Natster Please do not touch the audio of Locos 377 and 387 from LBN, they are perfect, the only problem is THE INTERNAL SOUND OF THE CAB, as there is a very loud wind noise and inaudible sounds from the loco.
