The Windrush Line (formerly South & East London Lines) has four separate divisions south of Surrey Quays. The E.L.L. started in 1869 as the East London Railway Company, which reused the Thames Tunnel intended for horse-drawn carriages, the line became part of the London Underground network in 1933. After nearly 75 years as part of that network, it closed on December 22nd, 2007 for an extensive refurbishment & expansion, reopening as part of the Overground network in April 2010. Phase 2, which links the line to the South London line with a terminus at Clapham Junction, opened on December 9th, 2012, creating an orbital railway around inner London, it has 23 stations. The S.L.L. (has seven stations) started in May 1867, is a railway line in inner south London, England. The initial steam passenger service on the route was established by the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway (LBSCR) on May 1st, 1867 when the central London terminal stations of Victoria & London Bridge were connected to the inner south London suburbs of Battersea, Clapham, Brixton, Camberwell & Peckham. A pioneer of overhead electric traction, most of the line was built on high level viaducts & was marketed as the South London Elevated Electric Railway in the early part of the 20th century. The electric service was popular, with four trains per hour & 12 million passengers in 1920. Between Wandsworth Road & Peckham Rye the route ran parallel to another set of tracks. Prior to 1923, both lines from Wandsworth Road to East Brixton were owned by the London, Chatham & Dover Railway (LCDR) & the lines from East Brixton to Peckham Rye were owned by the LBSCR. The southern Atlantic lines were operated by the LBSCR & the northern Chatham lines were operated by the LCDR. Then the name change back in 2023, the entire route south of Highbury & Islington will become the Windrush Line. Equipped with Class 378 [Capitalstar]. Should this route will become a new add-on map by the future?

I love the idea of the Windrush line to expand on the amazing London Overground network. It would be a chance to have a route with multiple branch lines and for it to be end to end. Additionally, the Class 378 are already modelled and they also occasionally use the class 710

This would be great but I would prefer if they added the full route so that we can at least route hop at clapham junction and have more gameplay for the route

Yeah, I really hope they do extend the Mildmay line so that it includes Richmond and Clapham Junction. Do you guys believe that they will extend the route

I agree. This would allow us to have the selection of the best London Overground routes. This would he amazing for a great range of variety and the quality would be amazing. It can use the 710 Aventra trains aswell as the standard 378 and re-liveried additions.

I noticed that there was a DLR in the image in the background of the Mildmay Line screenshot image and I believe that this will be a route featuring. Not confirmed but look forward to it and see what they do with the train
