The London Underground District Line to Train Sim World 5 (TSW5) would be a fantastic enhancement for several reasons: Iconic Route: The District Line is one of the most historic and well-known lines in the London Underground network. It’s a staple for Londoners and a symbol of the city's public transport system. Diverse Scenery: Spanning from the bustling city center to the more tranquil suburbs, the District Line offers a varied landscape that would provide players with a visually engaging experience. Complex Operations: The District Line has numerous branches and interchanges with other lines, which would create a range of operational challenges and opportunities for players to master. Historical Significance: The route includes stations that have historical and architectural importance, adding depth and context to the gameplay experience. High Passenger Volume: Being a heavily used line, it would simulate the real-world challenges of managing busy commuter services, enhancing the realism and immersion of the game. Variety of Rolling Stock: The District Line operates different types of trains, including the D Stock and S Stock, providing players with a diverse range of vehicles to experience and operate. Cultural Appeal: The London Underground is an iconic part of British culture, and including the District Line would likely resonate with a wide audience, both in the UK and internationally. These factors together would make the London Underground District Line a compelling and enjoyable addition to TSW5, offering players a rich and immersive experience.
Prefer pre S stock era. Ideally when the R, CO/CP, D78 and C69 stock all worked together for a while, though obviously we wouldn’t get four new trains in the pack!
I agree, love the S Stock and the route is incredible and hope that this route gets implemented. A sub surface route would be new to TSW aswell and I believe that it is time for a new London underground route.
I respect your opinion but love the S Stock. Maybe the transitional period would suit more people so you could have the choice of D stock or D stock to drive
this would make sense but they probably do the H&C aqs it links to barking for change with the suffer get, its not to long as its only one line and not one with 5 branches (as they would not make the full District then and that would be worse), and it will also call at Paddington for GWE. I also would like the District as its my local line but I have a feeling they would not do all of it so t56he route would be ruined
I think the Hammersmith and City line would be the most likely yet I still don't think they will ever make another London Underground route which is a great shame
I think the district line would be a good shout, but I think as a route, it would make sense to do the Circle + H&C to go alongside it as part of a London Underground Subsurface network pack just due to how those 2 lines would make the district feel more busy.
