INTRODUCTION Today I will be suggesting the London Underground (owned by Transport for London and operated by the Piccadilly line). This route will have 38 stations in total and will be 24 miles (38 km) long. THE ROUTE The line first opened in 1906 as the Great Northern, Piccadilly & Brompton Railway, with the line starting at Finsbury Park and ending at Hammersmith, which was soon renamed and extended; it is now known as the Piccadilly line. This route operates using the fourth rail, has a maximum operating speed of 50 mph, and uses the 1973 stock STATIONS -Cockfrosters -Oakwood -Southgate -Arnos Grove -Bounds Green -Wood Green -Turnpike Lane -Manor House -Finsbury Park -Arsenal -Holloway Road -Caledonian -King's Cross St. Pancras -Russell Square -Holborn -Covent Garden -Leicester Square -Piccadilly Cricus -Green Park -Hyde Park Corner -Knightsbridge -South Kensington -Gloucester Road -Earl's Court -Barons Court -Hammersmith -Turnham Green -Acton Town -South Ealing -Northfields -Ealing Common -North Ealing -Park Royal -Alperton -Sudbury Town -Sudbury Hill -South harrow -Rayners Lane ROLLING STOCK 1973 STOCK The 1973 stock manufactured by Metro-Cammell as a deep tube rolling 87½ of these six-car trains were built from 1974–1977. This route would benefit players who would want a London underground route as this route is one of two remaining fully manually operated lines. CONCLUSION Thanks for reading my suggestion hope you enjoyed it.
This is the route I personally want to see the most in TSW, would be brilliant to have the 1973 Stock preserved in the sim before it retires as well. I hope DTG keeps this suggestion in mind when deciding which new route to make.
