I feel like it would be a great idea if they changed the signals to actually act realistically. For example, they should not always be green, and when they are red, they should not turn green as soon as you close your doors. Also, there could be a setting in which people can rely only on signals for when they should move and not the game telling them when to.
I don't understand why you made this a poll. Everyone should agree with this. I would like to have the real LU signals where they aren't always green or change based on the doors. I want to be able to 'ride the yellows' and have realistic delays (this depends on the timetable and the number of trains on the route at once). I would also like to see speed based signals (called timers in the US) to control your speed and slow you down. The thing is... it would be difficult for the 'casual players' to adapt to these complex signals.
I would like to have more realistic singals as well. I don't get why dovetail has singals that are based on the doors. It's unrealistic for a game that's supposed to be a "SIM"
all this was discussed on stream before release of TSW2. they are currently like this due to the lack of services in the timetable which they are working on expanding. Once there are sufficient services then the signals will switch to behave realisticly. Its not a matter of a poll but a mater of how long it takes to make a timetable with hundreds of services
