A Piccadilly train arriving @ Russell Square.

This is a century-old, 53 station, deep tube & corporate blue color route that runs between Uxbridge & Rayners Lane on the Metropolitan Line via the Ruslip area or Heathrow Airport Terminals & Cockfosters. The line started in 1906 between Cockfosters & Hammersmith as the Great Northern, Piccadilly & Brompton Railway (GNP&BR). In the early 1930s, the line extended to Houndslow West, Uxbridge & Cockfosters. Charles Holden is a designer of the route. After the Second World War, the line extended to Heathrow Airport Terminals. With a Class 1973 Fleet (a six car train), a couple of depots: Cockfosters & Northfields, tourist attractions & more. Services: all times including night tube between Heathrow Airport Terminals (2, 3 & 5) & Cockfosters, except Terminal 4 loop & Ruislip area branch, some southbound trains terminate @ Northfields, Hatton Cross, Rayners Lane or Uxbridge & some northbound trains terminate @ Arnos Grove. The line goes split north & southwest of the Acton Town Station. There is a limited service stopping @ Turnham Green (early mornings only). Running time between Cockfosters & Hammersmith: about nearly an hour (58 minutes).

Everyone would love another tube route but personally I’d prefer a more modern route as the pic is very similar to the bakerloo

The Piccadilly line is a modern route. It just uses a old train

Not just Piccadilly; but the Met, Central, Northern, Victoria, and the Jubilee line.

I think a sub-surface/cut and cover would be more interesting, The piccadilly would be too similar to the bakerloo, especially since the train is the same era of stock

Soon, new trains will replace 1973 stock on the PL.
