Long Island Railroad Version 2.0 Missing Features/bugs/glitchs

Hello everyone GT here Wanting to point out a few Bugs and hoping to get Some feedback on third Rail Electrical sparks That was supposed to be released with the Long Island Railroad version 2.0...

2. Dark trains Shadows
I'm not sure why this issue is occurring but I remember this happening On Previous Routes in the past,I will Leave pictures down below.




3. broken service - C72 ATLANTIC TERMINAL – VANDERBILT YARD (Part 3) 08: 14: 10
Locomotive - 6car M9
As soon as I start the service the train derails and goes on its side. Pretty much unplayable service


4. M3 alerter/ATC has no sound
Long Island railroad version 2.0 M3 safety systems have no audio sound when turning on. I have a video for this too if needed. Only shows you visual alert which again it's mute and even if you do see the alarm emergency brake kick in regardless whether you attempt to acknowledge or not. big issue!


5. Custom liveries stuttering and not spawning in properly also making some cars disappear to the AI unit

I will be hopefully completing the full Long Island railroad version 2.0 and London overground timetables hopefully before summer. About a month has passed and have not seen anything about Long Island Rd. patch SMH. any other bugs or complaints I please ask the community put them down in the comments below this post.

 

Hopefully these get addressed really soon. God willing I'm planning to pick mine up when they have their summer steam sale

 

I want to guess that a Patch well hopefully come out by June the earliest and just hope they get all of the issues instead of one or two.

 

I hope so too it’s taking quite awhile to release a US route patch. We are already approaching a month since the release of LIRR

 

Have you made support tickets? Unfortunately support tickets are the only reliable way DTG finds out about issues. Even then, they tend to only fix absolutely gamebreaking ones like crashes. I’m hoping the broken services at least get fixed. There’s a number of broken services, most have already been identified and catalogued by number on the TSC Discord server. The shadows, that’s an artifact of the older lighting used on VERY old TSW routes. Even though LIRR 2 is a new route, it’s built on top of the original 2019 route, so the only way to get rid of the weird shadows and the trains randomly darkening is to rebuild the route from scratch with none of the 2019 route assets or light baking, and that’s just not happening. As for the M3, the M3 was not updated for this route. It’s the old M3 just layering in so any issues it once had will carry over. A lot of old locos unfortunately get broken layering into routes with features that didn’t exist when they were made. Here’s hoping they update the M3, but DTG has said they won’t be touching the M3 at all. Still though, I recommend you create tickets for each issue, as that’s the only way DTG logs them. Or at least post this in the technical issues section. They can’t quantify issues from general discussion posts. The more tickets they have, the more likely they are to prioritize addressing it if they ever do release an update. Unfortunately with the elimination of the preservation team, routes are pretty much done upon release unless it’s something that’s causing the majority of players to experience crashes.

 

Patches have been very rare for recent DLC. I’ve noticed they really only come back to fix crashes or things that have huge widespread complaints. Still though I recommend everyone who comes across an issue to make a support ticket so they know how in demand certain fixes are.

 

When it comes to New releases for Germany and UK routes receive their patches within the first week release or the second week the latest now for US passenger content that unfortunately is not the case and it's usually up to three weeks to almost a month or two to get any patches. I don't know why but this is the trend. Your question above I am my team of moderators report Test and log bugs/glitchesnji

 

Thought you like to know job c72 still derails straight away just tried it 3 times with no luck it seems to be all the part 3s that derail

 

So what you gonna want to do is go to the Issues/ Bugs/ Glitches &reported issue there with the most detail

Message/Question for and to Dovetail before the next roadmap Are there any fixes With the popping in and out of Liveries Occurring With many Trains across Various routes?

DTG MUST fix this. The m3 is undrivable in its current state
