The Looe Valley Line is a small branch line set in the dense Forestry of Cornwall. This route isn’t meant to be anything complicated in gameplay, this route is only 9 miles, however this means that the scenery can be done to a high standard, This is more for those who want a relaxing experience, a far cry from the busy mainlines. LOCOS: BR Class 153 (GWR) (Reused) In 2018, GWR had a set of Class 153s before they were moved to Transport for Wales, and Scotrail. These would do the services along the route. STATIONS: LISKEARD COOMBE JUNCTION HALT ST KEYNE WISHING WELL HALT CAUSELAND SANDPLACE and LOOE SCENERY: The Route features amazing scenery opportunity, as the route runs along the East Looe River and through the dense Forestry and Valleys of Cornwall SERVICES The Looe Valley Line runs 6 trains a day from Liskeard to Looe. POSSIBLE SCENARIOS Early Riser - 30 mins - Operate the First Service of the day coming out of Liskeard to Looe. Summer Traffic - 60 mins - Operate a Busy Summer Holiday Service from Liskeard to Looe, and then back to Liskeard. Rescue Mission - 60 minutes - a 153 has failed near Looe, Drive a Replacement 153 to go and Rescue the Failed Train. KEY FEATURES: The Route Features the Unique Curve of Track which goes does a tight turn and goes down the valley to Coombe Junction Halt. LAYERS: BR CLASS 150/2 Subbing in From Riviera Line BR CLASS 802 for AI Cornish Mainline services. PRICE: Liskeard to Looe is a short 9 mile branchline, however this route could be developed to a very high standard. Definitely a very good route, would make use of the 150/2 as a layer and 802 as you said and a 153 would make a welcome return and could be layered on Riviera maybe... Just wish we do get more branch lines as we rarely get any now.
