Yes, a Western Maryland BL-2.
It was EMD's failed attempt at creating a "modern" cab-unit.

 

I've only got one question. Wouldn't a thread like this have been better off being put in the Off Topic section of the forums?

 

I guess but I think the "uniqueness" that this engine looks could go into Train Simulator

 

Well the way the thread's titled and the original post is worded, it certainly makes it seem like it belongs in the Off Topic section more then here in the suggestions. The way I interpret it is as this: "Hey! Look at this interesting locomotive I've found! Isn't it neat?" instead of "Hey. I just found this interesting locomotive that I'd like to see make it into the game, and here's why."

 

By putting it in the Suggestions thread suggests that the OP was suggesting it could be made.
