PC Lost Driver Interior Camera After Entering Tunnel

TSW2 - Sand Patch. This has happened to me before on another route. Using external camera "2" when train entered tunnel. Selected "1" to get back to cab/driver view and it stayed in the "2" external view. Select "1" again and it switched to the free camera. Waited until the entire train was out of the tunnel and the behavior was the same - First "1" was the same as if I selected "2", then another switched to free Camera.

Tried Ctrl-0 and selected Interior Camera / Default - no change. Tried Ctrl-0 and selected Exterior camera, then back to Interior camera it stayed the same.

I tried ESC and went through a few menus there then back to the game thinking if it was paused and resume it would reset the view but it did not.

I am stranded outside the train without access to cab controls. This has happened at least once before prior to the Rush Hour updates so it's not unique to Rush Hour.

As a work-around I saved the game and resume it and that reset the camera. I'll try and capture it happening again. It seems to be tunnel related.

Using PC/Mouse/keyboard and X-box controller.

 

This is probably a bug since they made it available to select an exterior camera in a tunnel. Is it just getting back to the interior camera that you are having problems with, can you switch to other camera views?

 

I can switch to other cameras - just not the cab camera. The prior run with the same train/route didn't behave this way so it's an intermittent problem; but since I had it happen twice I thought I would report it. It would be helpful if there was a way to reset the camera without having to do a save/restore.

 

Have you tried moving from other cameras to the cab camera or just tried moving from the ‘2’ key to interior?
