Love to all, it's been a while since I made a route proposal. But, this time I have another one after years of not having any proposals. This new proposal is the Louisville and Indiana Railroad. The Louisville and Indiana Railroad, LIRC was part of the Pennsylvania Railroad's Indianapolis Division. (map here: https://prrths-ne.org/maps/Indianapolis_Division.pdf ). In 1994, LIRC purchased the trackage from Indianapolis to Louisville from Conrail. The railroad also operates over the former Southern Indiana Railway, but, this proposal focuses on the 106 miles from Louisville to Indianapolis. LIRC map, pre-SIND purchase. I don't have any scenario ideas right now, but, it would be nice to see a short-line route, and maybe one day, get NY&A for the LIRR DLC since Anacostia Rail Holdings also owns NY&A alongside LIRC and a few other short-line railroad companies.
